The Bluetooth® Auracast™ headphones are at the centre of the modular system. This serves as a receiver for all corresponding audio data streams - from Bluetooth® Classic (single-channel) to Bluetooth® LE audio (two-channel) and Auracast™ (broadcast audio), the headphones are equipped as standard with real-time transmission via AAC and LC3, high-resolution HiRes LDAC audio and active noise cancellation (ANC) including transparency mode.
When ANC is activated, microphones integrated into the headphones continuously record ambient noise and feed it into the Bluetooth® audio streams. Disturbing noises are completely suppressed and only relevant sounds, such as direct speech from people, call, doorbell or emergency signal tones, are emphasised via the transparency mode.
If someone sinks completely into their audio comfort zone and forgets everything around them, transparency mode can certainly save lives.
The headphone battery is charged via the integrated USB-C port (from 0 to 100 % in one hour). An optional storage and wireless charging stand for the headphones is available as an accessory (inductive, from 0 to 100% in approx. 2:40 hours) The Charging Stand is Not included in this listing. With a full battery, the »earisMAX« headphones provide around 80 hours of personalised sound enjoyment. Pilot users are impressed by the charging time/usage ratio of the headphones. This also proves to be one of the clear advantages over other audio systems.
Please note that no USB power supply unit is included in the scope of delivery. If required, the USB power supply unit A-5262-0 can be ordered, but most user households are likely to already have one - e.g. as a charger for a smartphone.
With the help of the smartphone app, which is available free of charge in the relevant app stores, users can calibrate their personal hearing profile themselves and save it permanently in the headphones. All further customised settings then take the stored profile into account by compensating for the corresponding frequency losses as far as possible.
For example, multipoint connection: Many users describe the multi-point connection that can be activated via the app as convenient and helpful. This makes it possible to connect two audio sources to the headphones at the same time and switch flexibly between the two.
Personal euphony: The app also provides extensive setting options for customising the sound to suit personal listening preferences and/or audio genres.
